The AK-47

 The AK-47, commonly known as the Kalashnikov Model 1947, is a Soviet assault rifle that is extensively used across the world. The initials AK stand for Avtomat Kalashnikova, which means "automatic Kalashnikov" in Russian, and refer to the weapon's creator, Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov, who created the recognised version of the weapon in 1947.
Almost from the time of the Soviet military's formal acceptance in 1949. The AK-47 was known for being easy to use, durable, and dependable in adverse situations, as well as being mass-produced. It featured a cyclic firing rate of 600 rounds per minute and was capable of semiautomatic and automatic fire. It was built around a 7.62mm bullet with a muzzle velocity of 700 metres per second.
